WorkReady Speech-Language Services
Communication Skills for Real Life
Individualized support for adolescents and young adults as they navigate work, relationships, and adult life.
The Shift from School to Adult Life
The transition from school to adult life is one of the most significant. and most communication-intensive. periods a young person will face. New environments, new expectations, and new relationships all demand a level of communication flexibility that many adolescents and young adults with language-based differences haven't yet had the chance to develop.
In school, supports are built in. Teachers know your student. Accommodations are documented. But in the workplace, in college, and in adult life, the expectation shifts: communicate your needs, advocate for yourself, and navigate complex social and professional dynamics. often without a safety net.
That's where WorkReady Speech Language comes in. We specialize in the communication skills that matter most after the school bell stops ringing.
Our services are designed to meet young adults where they are. building on their strengths, addressing their specific areas of need, and preparing them for the real-world communication demands they'll face every day.
